Here is a link to an auction of a Transitional Monaco, being held this Saturday, May 21, at Kaplans Auktioner (in Sweden), along with the message that I received from someone at the auction house:
My name is Maria Hammarsten and I am the head of marketing at a Swedish auction house called Kaplans Auktioner. Our focus is on watches and jewelries and every month we have two watch auctions. Two times a year we also have an auction called "Important watches" and our next auction of this kind is May 21th 2011.
At this auction we have a lot of interesting collectors watches, but one is particularly interesting for Tag Heuer enthusiasts. It is a:
HEUER, Monaco, Cal 11, Ref no. 1133 B (Transitional), Case no. 158133, chronograph, menĀ“s wristwatch, 40 x 38 (45,5) mm, steel, self winding (microrotor), plastic crystal, date, damaged dial (7/10), case signed "Heuer-Leonidas SA", leather strap, original buckle, approx 1969.

Dear Mr Stein,
The current bid is at $7,800.
I will confirm that I have no financial interest in this watch and no financial relationship with the auction house.
