FS: 145.024...¨Flat Jedi

The real “Jedi” ¨Flat Jedi¨model 145.024s were produced for a very short period of time in late 1971 and then in limited edition in 1973 as commemorative watches for the inaugural World Football Day held in Barcelona.
So, this is an uncommon, and rare model that infrequently appears in global markets, two of which sold at the Omegamania auction in 2007 for around four and five thousand US dollars respectively.
Featuring the hand-wind calibre 861, the “Jedi” received its nickname as a result of the late Chuck Maddox’s interest in sci-fi movies.
Sometimes the more common 176.005 refers to as the Jedi...but this 145.024 is the real Jedi :-)
This is a stunning almost NOS watch...there are small marks on the caseback from handling in the store over the years...but watch has never been sold.
Comes on a blackleatherband with Omega buckle.
If you are collecting Omega..then this is perfect for your collection.
I will listen for a serious offer.
Cheers//Arne Json
