Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. | Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings. |
Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
And thank you, Mr. G.
: Offering my '66 2446 "first case, second iteration"
: Autavia with unusual dial marking, "E.R.H.". I do not
: know the significance or meaning of the marking; as far as it's
: origin, please see below. The watch is all original but for the
: bezel, which is a factory service replacement. The watch
: recently received a full service from Dave Stevens of A Matter
: of Time (Chuck Maddox's watchmaker) and is under his warranty.
: It is operating perfectly. Dave's invoice/record of service will
: accompany the watch. Dave compared the texture and coloring of
: the dial's graphics under microscope and believes the ERH
: lettering to be identical to that of the logo. That doesn't get
: me any closer to identifying its meaning but I firmly believe
: that it was done at the factory. The watch is in excellent
: condition and will be sold on the Alligator quick-release driver
: strap (shown) made by ABP in Paris.
: $3250 - Either bank wire or PayPal (buyer to cover fee) and I will
: ship CONUS/insured at my expense. Same for international payment
: and I'll split shipping. References here and elsewhere.
: Thanks,
: Jim
