FS: Heuer (Pre Tag) Super Professional 1000m (840.006)

For sale is a very rare "Heuer" dialed 1000m Super Professional (840.006). Only available for a very short time before Tag Heuer acquired the company in 1985 and rebranded this model.

A full movement service was completed in February 2012 by Duncan Potter at Genesis Watchmakers. The Witchi Chronoscope printout is included which shows that the movement is running extremely well. A 2 year warranty was provided and is transferable to the new owner. A New winding stem and service crown was also fitted at the time of service.

New seals were not fitted as they were on back order at the time. I don't dive with vintage watches but if the new owner wishes to submerge this watch in water, please have the seals checked and tested before doing so.

The case is in very good original condition. The bezel shows some wear marks which would not be difficult to refinish. Dial is completely original but has been re-lumed at some point in the past. The hands appear original although I am not certain.

Original "Heuer" signed bracelet is fitted and is in good condition. It will accommodate a wrist size up to approx. 7 1/2 inches without needing the divers extension.

I also have an immaculate original "Heuer" signed divers pouch available (as shown) which can be included in the sale.
