Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Very nice Rolex 1680 Red Submariner, serial number is 3388*** (3 million) and it is engraved 72 in the inside of the case back cover, making it a 1972 model – ideal for a 40th birthday present.
This lovely vintage Rolex Red Sub comes in original vintage Rolex Seahorse box (even has 1680 sticker on it), Rolex hang tags and translation paper. It sits on a Rolex 93150 sports bracelet with 580 end pieces.
This watch had a full service and refurbishment from William Rice at a cost of £495 in August 2011. William Rice is the UK’s most respected independent authorised Rolex specialist – the service receipt is included. The bezel and crystal were replaced but the old parts are included (bezel even has original aged dot)
The dial has some gloss spots on it, but is in otherwise great condition with lovely creamy yellow markers and hands, it really is a lovely looking watch. Please study the pictures to see the gloss spotting on dial, it doesn’t really detract form the overall look of a lovely looking Red Sub, the spots can only really be seen at certain angles and light conditions.
A sensibly priced very attractive Red Sub with nice accessories priced at £5495 in UK
