Excellent Condition

For sale is this 70 year-old German army Glycine from World War II. The case and movement are in outstanding condition for an authentic
German army issue watch. The Glycine-signed “army” AS1130 movement keeps excellent time. The original radium dial was refinished in
the distant past with non-radium hour numerals and is in very good condition, only showing slight aging. Of course, the case features fixed
lugs, which were required of German military watches during WWII.

The “D” and “H” surrounding the case number represent “Dienstuhr” (Service watch) and “Heer” (Army). Glycine was one of the Swiss watch
manufacturers to produce watches for the German army to their specifications.

…34mm x 41mm steel case with chromed bezel and fixed lugs, in outstanding original condition, considering its age and purpose.
…Caseback is German army engraved “STAHL BODEN,” “WASSERDICHT,” and “D 93127 H.”.
…Equipped with the ORIGINAL Glycine-signed AS1130 movement, specified for army issue.
…Keeps accurate time.
…Original black dial refinished in the distant past with non-radium numerals, in very good condition, showing some aging.
…Original hands have not retained their luminosity.
…Acrylic crystal is in excellent condition.
…Includes choice of olive green or black nylon military strap.
