FS: Vintage Bulova Marine Star Chronograph

Hi

For Sale is a Bulova Marine Star chronograph which I believe dates to the late 70's:

It has a screw down crown & a WR of 50m and is a very good size at 42mm diameter with 22mm lugs and comes fitted with a very nice quality black Hirsch strap.

The movement is the hand winding Valjoux 7731 chronograph movement which runs very well & the chrono resets to the 12 position perfectly.

As you can see this one unfortunately has some wear / fading to the bezel between the orange 12 marker and approx 5 marker and also quite a nasty scratch on the crystal near the 1 marker which runs horizontally for 6-8mm.

There is also a small dink on the under side of the top left lug where it joins the case and the caseback has a scratch right across the back which also shows sign of wear:

Unsure of the Service history , but it runs perfectly....no box or papers.

Price is quite difficult on these - a really good example is around £1200....so I'm looking for a very reasonable £825 including RMSD

Payment by BT only -

Plenty of references available -

All the best - Neil
