FS: 1968 BT Omega SM300 166.024, Serv'd ,1035 Bct ,STS refurb

Hi

I have decided to let go another of my SM300's....this one having the rarer (imho) date function & some rather cool WABI to the caseback....see below for details.

For Sale is my lovely vintage 1968 'Big Triangle' Omega Seamaster 300 166.024 with Cal 565 27mill serial movement:

The Watch has just been independently Serviced and has also just been returned by Omega Uk's vintage restoration specialist Swiss Time Services (STS) from a full refurb of the case & bracelet and is therefore in superb condition and under guarantee for the next 1yr:

It has the original & vintage 'T Swiss made T' dial with the very desirable original Sword hands combination (minute hand trit fill replaced by STS as original had cracked & deteriorated badly) and the lovely Bezel is dink free & only has the lightest of surface cracks at the 2-3minute marker with a lovely patina to the numbering. Original domed Omega Crystal retains the logo and the datewheel has been replaced at some point:

Fully serviced & under 1yr warranty* the Cal 565 27mill movement dates this one to 1968 (pic courtesy of STS) and the screwdown Omega Crown was replaced :

Caseback has a clear Seamaster logo & wording and you will also notice hardly any endlink wear to rear of the lugs - that's because it's been worn on a Nato for years & years and the wear marks across the 'SEA' in 'SEAMASTER' from the nato strap are clearly visible ! :

This one also has the benefit of having a matching full length 1035 Semi-expandable Bracelet stamped Q2/72 along with a pair of 640 endlinks (as the 516 endlinks are very difficult to come by) - it is complete and in outstanding condition and worth £400 alone:

The Watch comes with the STS paperwork & a full 1yr guarantee for the independent Service* plus the rather worn original period Omega box:

I will also include the correct period Omega hangtag & a slightly later 'You & Your Omega' booklet.

*as the watch was independently Serviced overseas , I will personally handle & resolve any warranty issues for the next 1yr*

This really is a lovely example of this iconic Watch & I am looking for £2175 incl RMSD

All the best - Neil
