I am sadly putting up for sale my lovely and very rare Heuer Ref12 large shield. It dates from around 1978 and I was lucky enough to get it from Stewart (Heuerville) earlier this year. The watch is in stunning condition - the face and hands are un-marked, the crystal is brand new - replaced just before I bought it. The PVD case has aged beautufully without any noticeable dinks on it. It comes on a very nice black leather strap and a PVD Heuer pin buckle.
All functions of the wonderful Valjoux 7734 manual movement work correctly and the tacho resets to zero perfectly Photo courtesy of Stewart and his wonderful blog - thank you Stewart!! Please have a look at Stewart's excellent write up to get the full story about this great piece. Asking what I paid for it - £1000 inc RMSD.
