The only reason I'm selling this legend is because I have two! (I did have 3 and decided that was stupid)
Details - dial lume has some wonderful wabi, it matches the Spiro diver logo which I love! It isn't a safe queen, but looks the business, the right amount of wabi. It has been to James for a mini-spa, so has hand new glass & gasket, clean, relumed hands in vintage colour.
James noted that the rotor is different from other Spiros he's seen, it is an original TAG Heuer signed rotor, but from a later model (Cal. S), probably replaced at a service at some point. The rehaut ring has a tiny scratch on it, but barely visible. Minute bit of paint loss on the very edge of the dial, around 4 oclock. These seem to suffer from this more than most.
The case is nice and sharp, has got custom brushed sides (instead of polished). Has the correct sized crown too, many get replaced with a smaller TAG Heuer crown - It's a bit of a legend this watch, and is simply superb on leather/NATO/rubber.
You can read about the Spiro on my blog: http://heuerville.wordpress.com/2012/06/17/tag-heuer-spirotechnique-180-023/
Please note - the watch featured on my blog isn't the one I'm selling - it's the one pictured with it, in the '2 sprios shot'. You can see it below (on the right).
£700 ono inc. del. (Head only - but I can chuck in a standard NATO & a leather strap if required)
Any questions, just fire away.
Seen on the right in this photo..
Some more quick pics...
Cheers
Stewart
