Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Heuer Autavia Viceroy - The 1163V Viceroy model - Cal.12 movement
This model Viceroy Autavia was made famous by the tobacco partnership promotion of 1972. The Autavia is strongly linked to motor racing of the era & still looks good to this day.
Case correctly stamped 1163V between the lugs.
This classic chronograph is 42mm wide w/o crown. It has the familiar left side crown as it uses Heuer's Cal.12 movement.
The watch was serviced late last year & functions exactly as it should - time , date & chrono.
The case is in good shape as can be seen in the photo's but does have some marks and scratches (such as it would be for a 40 year old watch) but no deep wounds. If you were fanatical about a perfect case it could be expertly polished to look new but i'm a beleiver of the "keep it original" school of thought and have left it untouched.
The dial and hands are in fantastic shape, i cant see any marks at all with the naked eye. Lume is fully intact and functions.
Here is a photobucket link with plenty of photos for you :
