The SuperOcean ref. 2005 Diver was launched in 1965, replacing the first models of the SuperOcean mid / late 1950s, the model only time ref.1004 and the chronograph ref.807 .
The Venus 188 movement is a modified Valjoux 7730 when Venus was closed and transferred production at Valjoux SA in the early months of 1966.
It measured the dive time in minutes (the sphere center diamond tip); the aperture at 6 o'clock is blank when the Dive Timer is inactive, shows a large green light dot when the timer is running, you see a bright dot when paused.
Not many SuperOcean ref. 2005 have survived until today in excellent condition, still less with movements completely original, as the crown was not to be led lives so much moisture resulting in arruginamento movements.
