Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. It is the time that I have to sell my Edox Geoscope in great condition :)
Brand: Edox
Model: Geoscope
Movement: automatic ETA 2774 (after service)
Dial: in great shape - "The colorful dial rotates one revolution per day and shows time-zones for every place on the planet."
Glass: original in great shape without any scratches (visible in the pictures) - sapphire?
Case: EPSA compressor (never refurbished)
Diameter: 42mm
Crowns: with Edox logos
Strap: 22mm Guliano (not included)
Production years: 70'
The watch in whole is original (lot of Geoscope in the market are fakes). My model had a gasket issue and I was forced to refurbish white 0-60 minute ring. During taking the photos the main gasket was not installed yet, however it will be tomorrow.
The Edox Museum wanted to purchase this piece to their collection.
"Dear Sir,
Thank you for your mail.
We unfortunately do not have any spare part for your Geoscope.
However, we also have a question: would you be willing to sell the watch to us? We would like to have it for our museum.
What do you think?
Thank you and kind regards.
LAURENCE WIEDMER
MONTRES EDOX & VISTA SA
2714 Les Genevez - Switzerland"
As You can see in silver ring (between 40-45) is little discoloration visible only in some angle.
I waiting for offers - this occasion may not repeat for long time :)
