Hi all,
I like projects. I like sourcing parts and finding skilled craftsmen and frankly, the thrill of seeing something coming back to life. It's maybe not the smartest thing to do, but seeing an old thing become new again gives me a lot of pleasure. I seem to do it a lot with cars and motorcycles... maybe it's transitioning to watches.
I'd like to buy a lower price point but running Autavia. I'm assuming it will need case work, the dial will be beat up and it will in general just look a bit sad. If you have one that you have never managed to get to and would be game to give a good deal, I will promise you that it will be brought back to life and worn heavily. I have an original Monaco and Carrera and would now love the Autavia.
Cheers,
Neil
