After a long struggle with myself, I’ve decided that only one watch with the legendary Lemania 5100 will stay in the house.
That’s why this beautiful Fortis is now for sale.
A handful of details:
Ref: 606.22.142
Movement: automatic, Lemania 5100, Fortis signed rotor
Case: steel , sandblasted, condition 8/10 ,
Dimensions: Width 38mm ( 42mm with crown ), 47mm lug to lug
Rotating bezel (bi-directional) with Luminova triangle on “12”, screwed down crown and chronograph pushers
Date of manufacture: as far as I know 1992
Crystal: sapphire with AR
Dial and hands: tritium; still slightly glowing in the dark.
The watch has been approved by the Russians for space flights, a true spacewatch, however from the opposite team ;). Lemania 5100 is the movement I don't have to recommend here. Almost as ugly as reliable :D. A workhorse. This one keeps time around 5 seconds a day. After Lemania 5100 is not available anymore, those Fortises become rare.
The watch had a full review and adjustment by a qualified service Fortis in Warsaw, Poland. It has still around 9 months warranty on the mechanics.
Watch is sold with the black and orange leather rally strap from Watchgecko and black and orange NATO strap.
Price : 950 EUR plus ship, bank transfer or PayPal
