: For sale, Zodiac (Autavia) 2446C GMT . . . “Poor Man’s”
: Heuer . . . all original this is a late version of the 2446C
: GMT, so we see the red inserts and triangular tips on the main
: time-of-day hands and the red second hand, with the fluted
: pushers beautiful aging of the lume on the hour and minute
: hands; matching the triangular tip of the GMT hand case marked
: 2446C; serial number 196139 is correct for a late version of
: 2446C GMT; I believe that the case is the original finish; has
: not been polished; has had light wear watch sets, winds and runs
: well, gaining approximately 20 seconds per day chronograph
: functions (start / stop / reset) are quick and crisp everything
: on the watch appears to be original -- case, pushers, crown,
: dial and hands; components used on the Zodiac 2446C GMTs were
: identical to those used on the Heuer Autavias . . . the only
: difference is the name on the dial and movement color of the
: bezel is exceptionally bright / strong; some small marks on the
: bezel insert (worst marks at 13) sold as "head only"
: Priced at $2,600, plus shipping and insurance (required),
: payment by bank wire or check; no PayPal Appears to be an
: all-original watch; bezel is the best I have seen on any 2446C
: GMT . . . a Poor Man’s Autavia 2446C GMT, selling at half the
: price of the Heuer.
