Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Offering an assortment of double-thick vintage dive watch crystals. Many of the common sizes are starting to sell out now, so don’t miss out. The double thickness allows you to buff out these crystals easily if they get scratched. These are called Diver-Tite crystals, marked deep sea pressure proof. They are domed plastic crystals. They are ideal for many vintage dive watches. They were manufactured by G-S, the major watch crystal manufacturer. These crystals are New Old Stock in their envelope, used for watches from the 1950s to the 1970s. They all have silver tension rings that allow the crystal to snap into place for a tighter seal. These are designed to be compression fit. When installing tension-ring crystals, do not use a crystal more than 0.10 mm oversize of the crystal bezel opening.
I have mostly just one or two available in each size listed below. Measure your watch's crystal ledge carefully with a digital caliper (not the old crystal) or have a professional measure it; there are no returns for wrong size ordered. Only the sizes below are available.
Here are the specs on these crystals: the sides have a straight section that is about 3.2mm high, then the crystal curves to a dome; the height top of dome to bottom of ring is 5.6mm.
Price:
$12.99 each or any 3 for $35
