Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Up for sale is this gorgeous Carrera 7753 NT chronograph. This reference seems to be getting harder to come by, as new vintage collectors gravitate toward the “panda” dials that feature white subregisters on black dials.
Dial/hands
The black dial is flawless and free of any scratches or blemishes. The subregisters are a gorgeous creamy white. The hands, which I believe to be original, still glow when placed under bright light.
Case
Terrific case that I don’t think has ever been polished. The small hairline scratches on the thick lugs give the watch a bit of character and I’d never consider taking a buffer to them. 36mm in diameter. Serial number is 1072xx.
Crystal
Plexiglass. Small hairline scratch around 2 o’clock which could very easily be buffed out free of charge by most watchmakers.
Crown/pushers
All original, as far as I know. Crown is signed the proper size. Pushers are tight.
Movement
Valjoux 7730 movement. Bridge is signed Heuer-Leonidas SA. Very clean and well-oiled. Service history is unknown, however the watch keeps time to within 15-18 seconds per day. Very strong movement, built to last.
Band
The watch is offered "head only," but if interested, would be amenable to including the black/white DB10 Horween leather strap and Heuer buckle.
These Carreras are very rarely offered for sale. I’m happy to be accepting offers for this one.
