Nice and clean all original Vintage Heuer Monza 150.501 from 1975
The watch is in good condition for its age, definitely a nice example, the PVD coating on the case is almost all there the case has no deep gouges just a few dings on the case and of course the regular minor surface scratches from normal usage. The case has minor surface rust between the lugs pictured, not visible when the strap is on the watch or when it’s worn. Dial and inner chapter ring are excellent, hands professional relumed. Original crystal has also been professionally polished at service. The watch comes with a barely used leather rally strap with red stitching to match the beautiful dial.
"The Monza has a truly rich motorsport heritage. Its very being was the result of Niki Lauda winning the 1975 F1 title for the Heuer sponsored Ferrari team at the Italian Grand Prix, on the Monza track (Lauda placed 3rd, with Ferrari teammate, Clay Regazzoni finishing in 1st place). Jack Heuer wanted to celebrate Ferrari’s title win as well as the end of their 11-year dry spell. The result was the Heuer Monza, which sold as a limited edition in a miniature red racing helmet bearing Lauda’s name."
The watch was recently service (June 25th 2014) by a well know Heuer specialist the watch and all chronograph functions are working as they should. One of the hands had the lume missing so that was done, the watchmaker recommended that I replace the unsigned crown (they originally came with unsigned crowns) the original one will be included. Keep in mind that service history on these watches is important, you don't want to spend thousands on a watch only to spend 600+ on service shortly after buying it.

Even though it is serviced this is a Vintage time piece it does not come with guarantees and sold as. The watch keeps good time but I have not timed it for accuracy. I tend to overstate the watch faults to protect myself in case of picky buyers. Normally the watch turns up better than expected of my description. I have included lots of pictures of the watch. I did my best to describe this amazing watch as best as I could, Feel free to ask for any details.
Asking $3,550 €2,660 £2110
I prefer a bank transfer as a method of payment. Will ship internationally via FedEX - plenty of international reference available.
