The real McCoy.

This watch was bought from Helmut' Sinn's collection in 2012. In a unused unworn correct new Heuer Leonidas case, new crystal, new stems and a new bezel. In addition to that it has had a full movement cleaning and lubrication at Lange USA (SWR) in NYC in spring 2014, receipt and warranty included.

The watch operates like a brand new watch, runs precisely, winds smoothly, chrono works and flyback resets. The tritium has a nice deep creamy and even patina. It has military markings: BUND and issue number. Faint hardly noticeable hand engraving reads: Uli Mueller, 8/5/81. I asked SWR not polish it out but it will poilish over easy.

The dial has 2 very tiny tool marks near the center holes of the subdials. Thsi shows only on close ups and is not visible when wearing the watch. I have a white NOS Heuer replacement dial (non 3H) if that is a concern.

On a correct BUND issued strap or on a 20mm brown Sinn Juchte strap.
