I am selling this amazing Heuer Autavia 7763c.
It's a manuel wind with compressor (snap-back ) case; 3rd execution dial, 3rd execution hands ( matchstick with luminous insert ).
Catalog dates '68 and '69.
This 7763c is pretty difficult to find.
Fantastic bonus is the fact that this watch is completely original/untouched.
Dial and hands still have the original lume with heavy patina. Lume of the hands has a fantastic grey/green/black colour.
The lume on the markers has that wanted heavy tobacco colour.
Case is just fabulous, untouched, in an extremely good condition for a watch of this age and with the edges razor sharp.
This is really the best case I have ever seen on an early manuel Autavia of this type.
Original plexi with almost no scratches;
Original MH bezel with the typical (for this model) black mirror effect insert.
The bezel is really very good with the teeth still very sharp ( see pics ); unfortunately slightly scratched between minutes 37 and 40.
( difficult to see with the naked eye )
Case-back has all the engravings still very visible.
Model number and serial number clearly visible between the lugs
Watch is mechanically in perfect working order: good time keeping, chrono working as it should.
When I found the watch it had a wrong chrono hand; James Hyman did a great job fitting the right hand.
Model number: 7763
Serial number: 112389
Movement: Valjoux 7730
Price: 2650 euro ( included insured shipping )
I give a full refund if the watch has a problem or is not as described.
Kind regards,
Bernard
