-Glycine now avaliable, some better pics and new price. Thanks OTD-
Hi everyone,
for sale here my Vintage Glycine Airman: this is part of the generation produced between 1967 and early '70 with Glycine logo and the A. Schild movement.
The watch was completely serviced in November 2014, and the HACKING FUNCTION IS WORKING perfectly (see photo), 90% on the times the part doesn’t work or was erased during the years.
A new crystal was fitted, it replicates exactly the original with the internal magnifier date lens (I’ll include the old one)
The watch has never been polished, I choose not to touch the case during the last overhaul, so it has all sharp edges and the original satin finish on 24h steel bezel, another thing it is not usual to find.
The engraving on the caseback is difficult to represent on photo but it is readable and it says:
“Incabloc Swiss Stainless Steel Automatic" and in the inner circle "PAT 3144050" and the serial which is "917XXX".
The dial is mint, (there is some dust on the plexi on some of the photos, the dial is perfect) with beautiful honey patina on the tritium indices
I’ll include a new Phoenix nato, a “wild boar” repro strap like the original that came with the watch when it was produced and a distressed Darlena leather strap, very appropriate with the pilot heritage.
If you're looking for a vintage Airman, it'll be hard to find a better example out there.
I’m asking 1250euros, payment by bankwire or Paypal (add 4%), I prefer to ship it to the EU, but we can discuss international shipping.
Feel free to email me if you have any additional question.
I have several references avaliable, here on Chronotrader and on some other international watch forums, just ask if you need.
Thanks for looking!
