Hi folks
Happy new year!
For sale- my one owner Monaco 40th anniversary re-edition, the 2009 issue limited to 1000 pieces edition and which most resembles the 1133B Steve McQueen Monaco.
OEM double Box, OEM papers, OEM spare strap, OEM deployment clasp, spare rallye strap, OEM extra HEUER buckle, and original 40th OEM HEUER strap tool etc , it was $A11,795 when sold new locally at our local AD about 2km from me in '09. Light wear, unpolished case, clear glass. The serial number is a triple repeat-digit "lucky" number 0XXX/1000, for some added cachet. Email for details.
It will take offers >$US6,500 for me to let it go. All the look and feel of a 1133B, with new model reliability. I've owned all the vintage Monaco's from Cal 11, 12, 73633 to transitional and the re-editions, and with this model you get a reliable, wearable watch with modern "engine" & as close in execution to reference to the 1133B without the vintage watch unreliability.....those old one's never really 'work' properly, do they........?
Search here on OTD, there has only ever been one other of these CAW211A ref's offered for sale......so they're rare.
Detailed condition report and pics can be provided upon request- and references available - just send an email to my office.
Cheers
Stewart
