: This is a beautiful Universal Geneve Tri Compax ref 22258, serial
: number dates to circa 1944 from the US market (you can tell by
: the UOW import stamp)
: Calibre 481. Functions; Seconds, Minutes,
: Hours, Chronograph, Triple Calendar with
: english day/month discs
: The watch works and keeps time but once the chronograph is engaged
: for just under a minute the entire watch stops, other functions
: work properly
: All of the hands are in blue steel with the exception of the
: chronograph second's hands in a faded metallic colour and the
: date pointer in red. I have seen other Tri Compax with this
: configuration.
: It has been polished by the previous owner
: There's a dent on the crown which makes me believe it's the
: original
: The watch must have been in storage for sometime because only half
: of the moonphase is faded
: Gorgeous font, slight marks a bit all over the dial, I'm not sure
