Hi. I'm in the process of preparing this one for Ebay for Sunday night starting time (Pacific Time.) My seller ID there is j.b.jenkins
It is an early watch with desirable "flush" pushers for the day and month and the Valjoux 72C movement. It should be serviced as the hour sub-register doesn't seem to change and the crystal has some cracks that look like an attempt was made to remove it with one of those "spider" contraptions. I just wore it for the day and it seems to keep reasonable time, and does not ever stop on its own. The chronograph functions work (except for the above mentioned hour sub-register) and the day and date change properly overnight. I assume the month change is manual? It is missing the pusher cover for the day-of-the-week pusher. General wear all over but vastly better than the one that sold on ebay earlier today. The case number is 5086 and you can search google to find other examples. The movement, hands and dial, etc are all correct for this vintage. There are multiple service scratches inside the caseback the earliest I can make out is from 1968. I have not determined a price yet as I literally only decided to sell it yesterday and took the photos today! Only selling to pay for the Heuer Pasadena I have on the way. If you are interested write me directly and once I get the rest of the photos out of my camera I will send them too you.
Quick apologies if my ebay references are not allowed or pointing something out in this manner is forbidden. I just wanted to give the good member a heads-up on something he may be interested in. Though a long-time member, I do not post much. Also I have never sold anything for shipment outside of the United States (I don't sell many items) and I am not familiar with the processes needed to protect both buyer and seller.
Regards,
Jon
