Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Dear fellow Chrono enthusiasts
Amongst the KAF Heuers I also found this gorgeous virile Autavia "orange boy" with an amazing charcoal grey faded bezel
Case: typical 11630 Case with embedded pushers only fully visible from the back. I am not 100% familiar with the depth of the Casebacks in order to establish if it is a Schmitz or a Piquerez case; Case is in excellent condition, original finish. Case has slight superflous wears on the surface, but for a 30+ watch this one is remarkebly unmolested. No deep scratches dings or anything similar.
Bezel: bi-directional bezel with 5 minute markers, the surface faded to a warm charcoal gray. there is a slight ding at 22min for full disclosure
Dial & hands: warm grey Autavia dial with small Heuer shield, two registers, right one with orange accents. both registers show little wear. All luminous material is fully intact. Hands are painted orange, the hour and minute hand have fully intact luminous material. Seconf hand is slightly darker shade of orange.
Sapphire: the sapphire is scrathfree and in good condition but has a ding at 7 o'clock
MOvement: the Heuer cal.12 was recently serviced and timed by my certified watchmaker and running strong. Chrono is working as should and all hands reset to zero.
reference and serial are both easily visible with the naked eye:
11630 at 6o'clock and Serial 375xxx at 12
