Offered for sale is a stunning and all original example of the iconic ref. 2998-62 Omega Speedmaster with a cal. 321 movement (1983xxxx Serial #) in great condition. This watch was purchased from its original owner who wore and enjoyed it almost everyday since purchasing it new.

Details:

Dial: The original stepped applied logo step dial is in good condition and has turned to a stunning tropical brown color. The hue of the dial visually changes depending on lighting conditions. Two additional photos taken from a camera phone under direct sunlight are provided in the photo gallery to show the appearance of the dial under the sun. The original lume appears to have melted onto the dial as the original owner lived and worked in a hot climate throughout his ownership, adding a bit of uniqueness and character to the watch. The dial and lume plots are 100% untouched.

Case: Stainless steel straight lug case is in good condition with normal scratches from use. Crystal is in good condition with a few light surface scratches. Original BASE500 bezel with DO90 has faded to a beautiful gray hue complimenting the overall vintage character of the watch.

Bracelet: The watch comes fitted with an original steel 7912 bracelet in good condition with 23 links.

Additional: The watch currently runs well but service history is unknown. No other accessories are included with the watch.

Returns only accepted within 3 days of receipt if item is not as described and is returned in the same exact condition as it was originally sold.
