Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. FS: Heuer Autavia 1163V 'Viceroy' 1972

Hi,

For sale is my remaining Heuer Autavia 1163V 'Viceroy'.

This example possesess a bright and flawless dial with factory lume still in evidence. Original hands, crown and pushers. Original bi-directional ratcheting Tachymeter Bezel is in fine condition with only two very minor blemishes at the 80 and 63 minute marks on the tachy ring. Correct original 'eclat d'etoile' factory finish in fine unmolested condition. Factory sharp edges across the flanks and lugs. Caseback similarly unmolested. Serial number and model number stamped between the lugs and still clean and sharp. Black Corfam 'racing' strap sourced from Abel Court and original buckle with correct period stamping. Last service by the excellent Nic Green of Chronomatic (formerly of Heuer Boy) since when the movement and the chronometer functions have bettered the performance of my recently manufactured chronometers (please see the short video that I've posted with the photos).

As can be seen from an original 1972 Viceroy advert in my photos the watch is offered for sale in a form identical to which it was first offered 43 years ago.

Sensible offers invited please. Bank transfer is preferable but Paypal also accepted (with a further 4% added to the agreed price to account for Paypal's transaction charges). Shipping by an insured and tracked means of delivery at cost. I have ample references from having recently parted with several other items from my collection and these can be provided upon request.
