Hi folks,
Selling this on behalf of a friend, a great example of a 7016/0 Tudor Snowflake.
These are getting tough to find, especially in good condition. With the notorious 7016/0 dial rot issue, finding one without is certainly a challenge too.
Watch is running great, keeping time to about slightly +/-10 seconds a day though servicing history is unknown.
I have also verified the dial with the right stamping on the back and also the stamping on the movement top (photos below). This interesting variant of the Tudor snowflake has a fuzzy lume look, which is correct, and all lume does not glow. Case has been polished in the past, but the nice lugs chamfers are retained and lugs are fat. The pro is there is some engraving on the case back which I am unsure what this meant to be honest. 815XXX serial dates this to 1974 production. Watch comes only as head without strap.
Overall, a good specimen for your collection.
I am asking for USD 4,800 shipped via registered mail worldwide. Paypal is only acceptable IF you convert the USD to SGD currency (as per XE currency rate) and you pay the additional 4% fees. Bank wire is preferred.
I can be reached at reficul_x AT yahoo DOT com. If the photos do not load, this meant that this has gone to a good home.
