This forum is for BUYING, SELLING and TRADING only--not for discussing watches. Please limit postings to specific ads for buying, selling or trading watches, parts or accessories that that match at least one of the following categories:

Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]

FS: Two Benrus Type II famous 1970s American military watches

From my personal collection. The ultimate military tool watch from the 1970s that was rated to 35,000ft flying for American aviators and to 1000m diving for the Navy Seals. Will be refreshing to the people who have been looking at all of the poor runts and awful put-togethers on EBAY. These are two excellent examples. Quick sampling of pictures. If you need other angles or details, just email me at billmahoney@aol.com

All original parts. Near-perfect bezels. Cases are clean with original finishes, sharp edges and no polishing, plus clean backs without strap marks. Original screw-down crowns with hash marks. No crazing or cracks on the original crystals. Fixed bars intact. Slight variations in lume on the dials. Both watches running, timing and hacking as they should, but have been stored away in the safe for years. So, if to be worn everyday, you may want to service the watch you buy.

Nitpicky details: swirls in first photo are the sweep hands caught in long camera exposure - the watch pictured set at around 1030 is the Jan ’77 watch - the one set at 315 is the Nov. ’79 model - nearly all of what look like imperfections on the bezels are just reflections - email me for more specifics on a certain watch.

Price: $2,250 each, including 2 bands, USA shipping & insurance

Straps: Buyer gets their choice of one leather Aviator Pilot's Band and one nylon NATO strap from Squinky.com a $100 value.

Payment: By personal check, bank transfer or money order. No Paypal accepted on these watches.

I have many references here since this site first began and on EBAY since 1998.

Thanks - Bill Mahoney (aka Squinky)
