Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Tag Heuer 2000 Chronograph model #273.006. This is an excellent example of an early Tag Heuer 2000 Chronograph. The watch is in excellent++ condition throughout, with the exception of a small nick on the unidirectional rotating bezel right near the 12 o’clock tick. The watch is all original and authentic…including the screw-down crown, chronograph pushers and bracelet. The watch measures 40mm without the crown (across from 3 o’clock to 9 o’clock), 37mm (across from 2 o’clock to 8 o’clock), 44mm form lug to lug, and 12.5mm thick. All chronograph and timing functions operate perfectly. The dial is in excellent condition with luminous markers on a deep black background, 3 bright silver turned chronograph sub-dials, and a unique internal cyclops/magnifier on the date window. The sapphire crystal is near perfect with the exception of a miniscule speck (barely visible without a loop) at about 12 o’clock. The 20 jewel quartz movement (most quartz movements only have 4 to 7 jewels) is a very rare CAL 185 (ETA 555-232) with mechanical chronograph module, and is in perfect condition and keeps perfect time. The unique quartz movement pulses at 2 ticks per second (as opposed to the single ticks on most quartz watches) AND it also has a regulator screw which can be used to adjust the timing of the watch (very rare on a quartz watch!!). The full size stainless steel brushed finish bracelet includes ALL the original links and is in excellent condition.
CHRONOTRADER/ONTHEDASH members will get half-off domestic shipping if you win the auction.
Thanks!
