Finally its about time to see if this beauty would be sold after I've decided to part..only if the price is met. These JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) models are becoming harder to find and are a "grail" among discerning vintage Seiko collectors!
The dial, hands, pushers, case, crown and bezel are all original to the watch. The crystal is a new mineral type.
This Seiko Kakume JDM Speedtimer in Champagne color dial is in superb and crisp condition..just falling short of being called NOS. But you be sure that the dial is falwlessly good, as you can see it's without any blemish. Using the magnifer, you'll find that the hands are in bright in color, clean and unfaded. All markers are crisp, unfading and beautifully outline (just like new).
The only flaw is the chronograph counter below at 6pm, showing only the colored numbering has lightened a bit (to be honest). The case condition seems reasonable to me but with scratches. But I have to say that the case lines are quite outlined. And the caseback shows that it was manufactured in December 1973(1933pieces).
By the way, this beauty was being serviced by my watchmaker just in August 2016. And everything is running smoothly without any issues. Also this will not come with any bracelet.
