Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Heuer Carrera 12 circa 1960's ref. 2447 with silver deci dial and Val. 72 column wheel manual wind movement
Period correct style black perforated strap
Original vintage Heuer buckle
This is nearly the "Holy Grail" of Heuers being the deci dial watch that the first re-editions were based on.
Asking $3200.00 firm.
EVERYTHING is correct and original on this watch and it is 5x signed; caseback, dial, crown, movement, buckle.
The dial and crystal are essentially NOS and the case and crown are near mint++ having been lightly polished but still having all the crisp sharp edges.
The Val. 72 movement is clean and keeping great time with all chrono functions operating correctly.
Please note how perfectly the lume in the hands match the lume dots at the markers. This shows that neither the dial nor hands have ever been refinished or relumed.
This is a very rare all correct and original watch in investment grade condition which would be the crown jewel in many collections.
