Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. | Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings. |
Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]

I'm looking to sell my beloved A386 to make room for my (new) grail. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. The watch, the owner and myself are located in NYC. Plenty of feedback is available upon request.
Price is $14,500 USD net, OBO, plus free shipment of your choice. The watch comes on the pictured vintage style cordovan strap. more pics on instagram under @luzer
Dial & Tachy - original to me, early version. crystal replaced. appears to be the 'First Series', per the 'HA Aligned' - (see this thread: https://omegaforums.net/threads/zenith-a386.5114/ )
Hands & Crown - hour and minute seem original, relumed. Second sweeper is a replacement, too long. subdial hands - i thought were replacements, were actually probably earlier versions (vs the fatter later subdial hands)
(see this thread: https://omegaforums.net/threads/very-tired-a386-on-the-bay.7497/ )
Case - seems like a Mark 1 to me
The first mark I case numbers 538dxxx to 539dxxx have a plain case back and no groove on lugs [see pic of the case with the blue highlighted around the lugs] more about this case later.
(see this thread: https://omegaforums.net/threads/overview-of-the-zenith-a386-case.5689/ )
Caseback & Serial - sapphire presentation caseback included, original caseback as well. now is when things get interesting, probably from an A384 or A385, Batch 4 / IV (Later): Serial is faint, 903DXXX NOT a 923DXXX; and caseback stampings match an A385 i found (SP1301 NOT SP1205. and is not engraved, no swirls). also maybe the movement is touching the caseback in the middle? NOTE: Seller says caseback is original, of course.
Movement - seems original, engraved 3019
