A vintage Heuer Carrera is about as cool a chronograph as you can get, featuring amazing vintage looks, true motorsports pedigree, and a design originally penned by the man himself: Mr. Jack Heuer.
Featuring a brilliant Blue metallic dial with silver subsidiary registers and outer tachymetre ring, this example is a stunning beauty, with colorful accents typical of the era. Ultimately, the Reference 1553 Carrera is one of the first - and last - Automatic executions, before the model swelled in size and lost its characteristic svelte design.
The seventies automatic Carreras have become sought after by collectors during the past year as prices for the first 60´s handwinding versions have exploded.
With this piece you have the chance to purchase a rare Carrera version with beautiful asymmetric dial design in best possible condition.
Stainless steel 38mm case with screw down back. Heuer signed crown. Metallic blue dial brushed silver luminous baton hands, outer tachymeter, and sub-dial. Date display at 6 o"clock. Caliber 15 Automatic movement.
This piece is 100% unmolested and in fully authentic condition. The caliber 15 is running perfectly in all functions.
