Offered for sale is a great example of a Universal Geneve Polerouter Sub (2nd Generation) with a Cal 69 movement in perfect working condition.
I bought this watch last year from another an enthusiast at this same website, and have been very happy with the watch. New commitments require some treasured watches to find new wrists however. So…
Details:
- Serial number (consistent with 1965) and Case number (869109/0) both visible on caseback�
- Symmetric case in great condition with little sign of polishing. Thick lugs. Normal wear and scratching.
- Original crystal with cyclops. A few small scratches.� I have not polished these out.
- Original signed crown�
- Micro rotor rattles a little, but movement functioning fine.
- Bezel turns in both directions. Some light wear to the bezel edges.�
- All functioning correctly. Serviced in April 2016 by the previous owner.�
- Black leather strap.
Asking USD 6,950 by bank transfer. Shipping (on top) is from Hong Kong, where I am based. Import taxes/ costs, are, of course, your own additional expense.
Returns only accepted within 3 days of receipt if item is not as described and is returned in the same exact condition as it was originally sold. Refunds will be considered upon a full inspection and will amount to the purchase price minus shipping and handling costs. Buyer is responsible for the return postage, insurance, and safe delivery of the watch back to me.
