FS: FS: 6th Fleet Issued Omega Speedmaster 105.003--needs resto

I am selling an Omega Speedmaster with Omega Archive extract showing US 6th Fleet Issue. The US 6th Fleet recovered many of the moon missions so this watch needs to be restored.

The watch needs $1000+ in work from a good restoration person. the watch runs and keeps time. The chrono starts but the top pusher stops AND resets the chrono. The Hippocampus on the backis all but gone but the caseback is correct and of the proper vintage. I corresponded a great deal with Chuck Maddox about this watch, and he thought for $1000 and change a great collectors watch could be created. The 1039 bracelet needs end pieces.

Unfortunately I made a bad choice on a home improvement contractor and my opportunities to restore this watch are now foreclosed.

I paid $2500 for the watch and bracelet a year ago. I will take the best reasonable offer from a respected TZ member that will restore the watch and bracelet. Loads of great references on request. No Paypal (I only have a personal account and can't accept credit cards). Wire or Postal Money Order. Prefer CONUS sale.
