Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Selling a so-called Unicorn of a vintage watch.
These really never come up for sale ... until now ;-)
Same case as seen on the Heuer 2446, Sinn 103B, Breguet ... and probably some others? :-)
Case: unpolished, nice clear lines and sharp edges without any serious blemishes. Serial no. still legible on caseback.
Crown: original signed MT crown.
Dial: near perfect, lume dots still in tact and no marks to the dial or sub-dials. Light tropical chocolate tendencies! SINGER Dial similar to the much coveted Paul Newman dial.
Crystal: original and free of any crazing or the like.
Bezel-inlay: just the right amountof patina. Not perfect but not abused with a lovely grey-blue hue (fade) depending on light.
Hands: all original without signs of serious oxidation or similar.
Movement: just beautiful and fully functioning MT signed Valjoux 72, recently serviced and working and resetting perfectly.
Comes on a strap, but have a generic bracelet if of interest.
Simply put, an all original Unicorn of a Mathey Tissot Chronograph that you really will not see on offer often.
Serious enquiries only please. Not really looking for trades at present, but I wont discount them completely.
Looking for offers around 13k$ US dollar. Shipping to be discussed.
