Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
I am offering for sale my rare 40’s vintage CYMA tachymeter-telemeter chronograph… in excellent all original condition with a heavy all Stainless Steel case, 36mm (excluding crown), thick rectangular pushers, curved lugs and snap back…
It features a near mint, original complex black dial with rust-colored inner tachymeter spiral, rust-colored outer telemetric scale, gold-colored railroad track scale counting minutes and seconds, all topped off with unique gold leaf hands… very striking and much nicer in the flesh!
Powered by an excellent Cyma 17j Cal 400L with column wheel (a Valjoux 22 variant I believe)… it winds smoothly and is running perfectly… comes on a like new Jurgens 18mm Black Buffalo strap for fixed lugs…
This is a beautiful vintage chronograph that I have owned and enjoyed for several years but have rarely worn… I’m not sure if there is any military connection but this certainly would have made an effective officer’s or pilot’s watch…
$1500 OBRO shipped in the USA… International at cost…

Please e-mail w/ any questions or for more pix…
Thanks for looking,
Peter
