Hi all,
I want to offer my Chronofix Type 222, a watch I purchased from a well known french collector recently. As much as I have enjoyed it in the past month or so, I'm chasing another watch I want and am getting funds for it.
So, some information:
- These are extremely rare, and I have only seen a few examples. You can find one in this article by Erick, if you scroll down: http://dondellinger.com/mipiace/index.php?post/2009/10/24/Type-20-22
- The watch was recently serviced by a previous owner, and I believe the hands were re-lumed. Please note some missing lume plots on the hour hand. Should be easy to fix.
- The hands (cathedral style) I believe are correct for this watch, based on what I had found on the French forums (see last picture at the end of the post)
- To my knowledge, these were the predecessors to the Type 20s before the specifications had come out
- Case is chrome
- Movement is a valjoux 22, with added flyback (and it works perfectly without any issues).
- Caseback engravings have the 3 stars from Cetehor
Watch is located in the US, in the Washington, D.C. area.
Prefer to ship it within the US but if you're international we can discuss (would go through ParcelPro).
Price is $4,650 OBO. I'm open to offers, if you're interested feel free to reach out. Because I am selling to fund another watch, I won't accept a refund unless it has been grossly misrepresented. Please evaluate the pictures and ask me any clarifying questions before you purchase! I will do my best to get you the information you want.
Have plenty of references on MWR/CT/OF/WUS, etc. and will gladly provide them.
