FS: A very Rare Vintage Sandoz Typhoon 1000M Diver watch

You dont see this watch watch come up for sale very often. Here is a chance to own a real beauty.

Vintage Sandoz Typhoon , only about 1000 made.

Most of the history of the watch remains a mystery.

It Has a screw in the back which is believed to be an early Helium release valve and it has been sealed because of the age of the watch.

This watch first attracted my attention because of its close resemblance to the Benrus Type 1 military watch…Having owned a number of Type l and ll's, I honestly believe Sandoz took that design and made it better

The watch was just cleaned and serviced. It Runs great keeps excellent time. Its has a Quick Set date function. All functions working well… all original …except for new old stock crown…Original crystal polished.

Sandoz used the identical crown that Benrus used on there Type I and II military watch...The crown was made by Mecco as is this crown...The only thing that is missing is the dimple.

Dial/Hands……both are near mint

Crystal……original, very high domed
