This firm represents Ramon Sotelo, the owner and seller of a wristwatch identified as “Panerai 351 P Series Titanium Automatic Watch” and currently listed for sale on various online watch resale websites, including, but not limited to, watchuseek.com.
We have been provided evidence indicating that you have unlawfully taken Mr. Sotelo’s online listing, including the written ad and all accompanying pictures, and are illegally using the ad as your own on chronotrader.com.
ON BEHALF OF OUR CLIENT, WE ARE HEREBY DEMANDING THAT YOU IMMEDIATELY CEASE AND DESIST USING MR. SOTELO’S AD AS WELL AS ANY AND ALL ACCOMPANYING PICTURES.
Obviously, you neither have the product that you are advertising to sell on chronotrader.com, nor do you have permission from our client to use his written ad and/or its pictures. In this respect, your intent to commit wire fraud and to steal from both our client and unwitting buyers is apparent. We intend to notify the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Federal Communications Commission regarding your activities.
Furthermore, your usage of our client’s ad and pictures, without his authorization, violates his intellectual property rights and subjects you to damages, measured by any profit you gain from the illegal ad. We intend to pursue the maximum legal remedies available to our client.
