Selling this really rare bird (if you see Christie's LOT 50 you will read of only two identical watches with the same combination of dial/hands/KAF worldwide) Autavia Kenyan Air Force Military Watch mit Decomp/Plongeur Dial and Hands.
Condition:
Please see pictures.
- Totally unpolished case (!!!!!) - no ugly relume, reDial oder whatever...
- new mineral glas as well as new gaskets
- All numbers perfectly readable (KAF 394, 11630, 3762....)
- works great
- extremely rare dial (decomp/plongeur Dial)
- Buren calibre 12
- lovely stealth/ghost MH Bezel
- put a Plongeur bezel on it and you got a 11630p KAF!
So it should be really really hard to find a watch in that condition!!
About 1,5 years ago a Heuer KAF with the same dial/hands in not so good condition got sold at Christie’s for more then 9.000 Euro (incl. fees).
Here's the links: https://onlineonly.christies.com/s/christies-watches-online/heuer-kenyan-air-force-autavia-ref-11630-50/48642
Still I am not Christie's and don't expect 9k...
So, how much would I like to have for my watch?
I'd say an equivalent to a Heuer Autavia 11630P in good condition would be fair - so the price is fair 5.900 Euro.
I WOULD LOVE TO TRADE FOR A HEUER AUTAVIA GMT OR A ROLEX SEA DWELLER SUBMARINER OR GMT!!!
I live in Germany; face to face would be preferred - shipping is also possible.
