Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Time to sell my Omega Marine Chronometer Constellation wristwatch with outer case SN 37059446. It has the Omega 13-jewel 1516 quartz movement (SN 37059671). I have not timed nor can I guarantee the accuracy of this 45 year old watch, though I wear it occasionally and it seems to keep good time. tracking pretty close to my Rolex Sea Dweller. The watch crystal has several tiny scratches, mostly noticeable when looks very closely at certain lighting angles. Otherwise the watch case is mostly scratch free - just a small one on the lower left case bevel not visible when viewed from above. And some faint swirly type scratches. The original Omega clasp band has some slight stretch. The Omega symbol is still clear on the four-screw mounted back. The date changes correctly at midnight. The spring loaded detent button next to the setting crown doesn't appear to actuate any function (doesn't work, but I'm not sure what its purpose is for), although it is not frozen. The watch comes with its original inner and outer boxes. Outer cardboard box is slightly frayed.
The watch comes with a new battery and I'll through in a new spare.
$1800 plus paypal fee and postage.
