You rarely see this watch come up for sale, especially in this condition. This first execution Heuer Camaro Exotic reference 73443 Dato was produced in the late 60’s. This one in particular was purchased in 1971 (see original paperwork). The exotic panda dial has a stunning appearance with a color that changes depending on lighting. The pictures below can speak for themselves but they do not do this watch justice.
Overall this watch is in fantastic condition. Everything is Authentic and Original. The dial and hands have both aged gracefully with a beautiful even patina. The case is crisp and sharp, the lume is incredible on both hands and hourly plots.
This watch comes with the original paper work.
Watch is keeping good time, and all chronograph functions work as they should. The Valjoux 7734 movement was recently checked by my watchmaker with no issues or need to service.
The Camaros are still relatively undervalued when compared to other Heuer Chronographs from the same time period.
