Hi all,
Up for sale is this rare Seiko 7018-6000 JDM Flyback Chronograph "Time Sonar". This 7018 caliber was manufactured by Daini factory in the 70s (serial number can't be seen so I can't know for sure the production month and year). All functions work and the watch keep a good time. Case still retains the factory lines with small dents here and there due to usage.
Dial is clean and original no repaint, hands are original, no repaint (note that for this variant the hour and minute hands don't have lumes). Chronograph resets to zero and the flyback function works. What is so special about this caliber beside the flyback function (in which you can reset the chronograph sweep hand without stopping it first, the hand "flies" back to zero), is that the minute counter glides smoothly instead of "jumping" every minute. The technology surpased the other Seiko chronographs made by the Suwa factory.
The watch also has a black transparent case back hence the name "Time Sonar".
Asking for USD 650 before shipping and paypal. Watch is located in Indonesia. Email me if interested or if you need more detail.
Thanks,
Haris
