Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
Need to know value of Omega Seamaster GMT - as I need to sell. Watch has black dial, stainless bracelet (also has Omega clasp hardware for leather band). Purchased in Aug. of '02. Comes with original box and all docs including inst. booklet, service center list, chronometer warrantee card, sales receipt and plastic int'l. warr. card. Bracelet has added link to size it for large wrist. Watch has been worn intermittantly for about 5 yrs. (traded out with 2 other watches, about equally) and is in 'used' condition...ie: outside of clasp is 'scratchy' (you know what Seamaster's are like) / (in other words, it's not 'showroom pristine') but it has had no problems or issues. Please respond with recommendation as to price or with bona fide offer. No photos at present but can supply either here within a day or so...or will email upon request to serious buyer.
Update on price:
After checking a number of sites and getting several knowledgable suggestions, with all the original materials (I might add that the original box mentioned above consists of the outside white Omega box with the SKU code tag plus the red leather Omega box and the red leather Omega document sleeve) and the added Omega clasp hardware, this GMT would appear to be valued at between $1400 - $1550. I have it listed elsewhere for $1350, but as it's sale is necessary I will sell all for $1200, which seems more than fair for this fine watch. I got out the digital camera and added a photo...not intending it to be quite so LARGE! Anyone wanting additional details or images, email me and I'll do my best.
