FS: Seiko 23J Fly-Back Chronograph ref. 7018-7000

Good evening fellow watch geeks.

After some consideration I have decided to find a new home for my rare Seiko 7018-7000 produced by Daini Seikosha in September 1971. The 23 jewel Cal. 7018 which powers the 7018-7000 was designed in the late 60's and is one of Seiko’s rarer chronograph calibres. These do not come up for sale often and given prices on e.g. Seiko 6138-8020's this is really value for the money IMO.

At 25,000 Yen (in 1971), it was among the most expensive Seiko chronograph at the time and well withing KS territory.

Movement: Automatic Cal. 7018, 23 Jewels, 21’600 bph, Chronograph (60sec / 30min) with fly-back, Diashock shock-resistant device, QuickSet Day/Date
Case: Stainless steel (width: 37-38 mm w/o crown, lug-width: 18 mm) Brushed sides and polished top lugs (gently done by my watchmaker)
Dial: Charcoal / black sunray, applied polished steel indices, polished steel hands (all original)
Crystal: Sapphire, raised (NOS installed by my watchmaker)
Manufactured: In Japan, September1971

The watch was serviced by my watchmaker a few years ago running strong and is ready to wear.

Price - 750 EUR including Insured shipping.

I have plenty of international references and aim to have a track record of happy buyers.

Please feel free to inquire if seriously interested and I will be happy to answer any questions.

Thank you to Chronotrader for the space.
