for sale is a very rare, complete and freshly serviced movement Valjoux 7732 for Heuer chronographs.
The V7732 is the date version of the V7730, both V7730 and V7732 have been made for few years only, from 1966 (when Valjoux took over Venus and renamed the Venus 188 as V7730) to 1973 (when Valjoux retired the 7730), and considering that as early as 1969 Valjoux upgraded the V7730-32 into the V7733-34-36-37 family, you can understand probably the V7732 has been made for three years only and so how many Heuer V7732 will exist on the market...
This movement was primarily used by Breitling and Heuer, e.g. you can find it into the Camaro 7843 Dato and into the Autavia 7863C Dato from 1968.
I have never seen a V7732 for sale passing on CT (and probably will never see again), so this is a great opportunity to catch a rare movement, moreover it is freshly serviced and runs like a train (and you know a movement service of a chronograph like this costs not less than 300 Euro and takes months of waiting list at a professional watchmaker).
Considering a common Heuer Cal12 is actually worthing on the market around 1200/1400 Euro, the price requested for this rare V7732 is 1800 Euro shipped with courier and fully insured.
Feel free to contact me for any additional information.
Thanks to CT and Jeff for this space.
