Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). FS: Croton Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver Chronograph 1950s.

This is a beautiful 1950s chronograph from Croton.
The watch is in great condition.
The dial is absolutely beautiful glossy black with 30 minutes register having a portion in red.
Signed CROTON with the following print bellow:
CHRONOMASTER
AVIATOR
SEA DIVER
T SWISS MADE T at the very bottom.
The luminous material is intact with some patina. The bi directional bezel turns both ways.
The black bezel insert is in great condition. The case appears to never have been polished after leaving the factory.
The case measures 38.5 mm in diameter, crown excluded. 38.75 mm across the bezel. Length 45 mm.
The screw back has numerous scratches from opening tool. It is numbered 105 9234.
This chronograph movement works a bit different than most you find.
Start chronograph with the push button at 2 o’clock. Stop with the button at 4. Resume if needed at 2.
To return all to zero press the button at 4 after the chronograph was stopped.
I ma not sure if the 30 min. counter hand is supposed to be in the zero position as shown in my pics.
The hand can be repositioned to upright zero position. This can be done during the service.
The watch comes with a heavy stainless steel bracelet by Armani.
It has a deployant buckle and will fit large wrist. The watch is in working condition with all chrono functions working.
We have not had the watch serviced as it is running fine.
If you wish to have it serviced by our watchmaker prior to shipping there will be an additional charge of $250.
We do not guarantee the water resistance of any of our watches.
Any water damage occurring while in your possession is your responsibility.
